Phthalate test

Phthalate test

Ortho benzene two formate is a synthetic widely used plastic plasticizer. It is widely used in toys, childcare products, food packaging materials, PVC materials, lubricants and personal care products (such as nail polish, soap, shampoo, etc.). At present, studies have shown that o-phenyl two formate can cause hormonal imbalance and affect reproductive organ development. Affect the normal development of fetus or children, so we need to limit its use.

Relevant regulations and our services:

EU directive 2005 / 84 / EC and its annex require the concentration of phthalates in plastics used for toys and child care products. After that, the relevant requirements of the directive were all included in the restriction list of reach regulation.

The consumer product safety improvement act of the United States (CPSIA) also has relevant requirements to control phthalates.

California bill 65 contains the relevant requirements of act ab1108 on phthalates.

We can carry out risk assessment of phthalate for your finished products and materials, and test the concentration according to the requirements of various laws, so that you can smoothly meet the requirements of different countries and buyers for the substance.
