Reliability and environmental test

Reliability and environmental test

1. Overview

In today's increasingly fierce competition, the function and appearance of products are no longer the focus of competition among brand enterprises. The quality and reliability of products are more and more valued by the market and customers. By using a variety of environmental test equipment to simulate the high temperature, low temperature, high temperature, high humidity and temperature changes in the climate environment, the possible failure of the product in the use environment can be accelerated to verify whether it can achieve the expected quality objectives in R & D, design and manufacturing, so as to evaluate the overall product and determine the reliability life of the product.

2. Service content

(1) Xenon lamp aging test

Sunlight is a major factor in the degradation of many materials, including plastics, textiles, coatings and other organic materials. Xenon lamp test is to use xenon lamp to simulate the destruction effect of full spectrum sunlight, and spray to simulate the effect of rain, exposure, sun exposure and darkness. Simulate the changes of materials exposed to sunlight in different environments.

Test standard: ISO 4892.2; GB/T 16422.2 ; ASTM G 155 ; ASTM D 4459

(2) UV aging test

The ultraviolet aging machine does not simulate the full spectrum sunlight, but it does simulate the destructive effect of sunlight. The main radiation of fluorescent lamp is controlled in the ultraviolet band of solar spectrum. Ultraviolet fluorescent lamp is used to simulate sunlight, and the influence of moisture can be simulated by condensation or spray. It is used to evaluate the change of color, luster, crack, foaming, catalysis and oxidation of materials.

Test standard: ISO 4892.3; GB/T 16422.3 ; ASTM G 154 ; ASTM D 4674

(3) Salt spray test

Salt spray corrosion is one of the most common and destructive atmospheric corrosion. It mainly uses the artificial simulated salt spray environment created by the salt spray test equipment to evaluate the corrosion resistance of products or metal materials. It can be divided into two categories, one is natural environment exposure test, the other is artificial accelerated simulated salt spray environment test.

Test items: neutral salt spray test, acetate spray test, copper salt accelerated acetate spray test, comprehensive salt spray test.

(4) Temperature and humidity test

The temperature and humidity test is applicable to products that may be used in warm and humid environment. For plastic materials, PCB, PCBA porous materials or finished products, different materials have different physical reactions to temperature and moisture, and the effects of temperature are mostly plastic deformation or product overheating or poor low temperature start-up. Porous materials will appear surface moisture adsorption, infiltration and condensation due to capillary effect in humidity environment, and product failure will be induced by static charge accumulation effect in low temperature environment.

(5) High accelerated life test

Halt is highly accelerated life testing, which is a method of applying step stress to the test sample and finding product defects, operation design margin and structural strength limit in the early stage. The defects exposed by halt involve circuit design, process, components and structure.

Test items: low temperature step stress test, high temperature step stress test, rapid thermal cycle test, vibration step stress test, comprehensive stress test.

(6) Vibration, impact and drop test

① Vibration test

The purpose of vibration test is to simulate a series of vibration phenomena, test whether the product can withstand the test of vibration environment in the process of transportation or use in the life cycle, and determine the requirements and standards of product design and function.

Test standards: sinusoidal vibration GB / T 2423.10, GB / T 4857.1, GB / T 4857.7, ISO 8318, ISO 2247, IEC 60068-2-6, en 60068-2-6; Random vibration GB / T 2423.56, IEC 60068-2-64.

② Impact test

Shock is a sudden and violent energy release, energy benefit conversion and energy disk transfer. The duration of shock is short, and the process of shock is completed at one time without periodicity.

Test standards: impact test GB / T 2423.5, GB / T 2425.6, IEC 60068-2-27; Collision test GB / T 4857.20.
