Energy star is a government program jointly implemented by the U.S. Department of energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to better protect the living environment and save energy. In 1992, the United States Environmental Protection Agency participated in the first promotion of computer products. At present, more than 30 types of products are included in this certification, such as household appliances, heating / cooling equipment, electronic products, lighting products, etc. at present, the most popular products in the Chinese market are lighting products, including LED light source, CFL, RLF, traffic signal light and export indicator light.

Energy Star provides online assessment tools that allow businesses and consumers to assess the efficiency of homes and industrial facilities. Energy star rating has become an important part of consumers' and enterprises' purchasing decisions. More efficient buildings, applications, and hardware mean greater savings in time or electricity costs for heating.

"Energy Star" has covered more than 50 categories of products, mainly focusing on:
