DLC energy efficiency certification

The full name of DLC is "the design lights Consortium". A voluntary energy efficiency certification program initiated by northeast energy efficiency partners (Neep) of the United States, DLC certification product catalog is used to promote high-performance LED lamps that have not been covered by "Energy Star" standard in the United States.

At present, the new version of DLC technical requirements form is v4.0 version implemented on September 1, 2016. The lighting products involved mainly focus on outdoor LED lamps for commercial and industrial buildings, such as outdoor wall lamps, garage lamps, industrial and mining lamps, outdoor LED lamps, LED tubes and other lighting products. Its main performance requirements for products: total luminous flux, annular luminous flux, luminous efficiency, color temperature, color rendering index, luminous flux maintenance rate, power factor, harmonic distortion. DLC certification requires that the product must be tested and reported by a third party laboratory approved by nvlap.
