The WEEE Directive 2002 / 96 / EC, which came into effect on August 13, 2005, requires the responsibility of the producers after the electronic products are scrapped, such as providing margin for recycling, providing relevant product information to the recycling center, registering the products in the country where they are put on the market, and regularly reporting the number of products on the market and recycling rate. If the producer fails to bear the corresponding responsibility according to the laws and regulations of the corresponding member state, his products cannot enter the market of that country.
