SAA certification

SAA certification

SAA Standards Australia International Limited is the only standard certification body in Australia, and all electrical products are subject to SAA. The inspection organization checks the safety and reliability of electrical appliances through destructive tests on electrical appliances, such as the uninterrupted overload use of electrical appliances under high temperature, and the safety performance of electrical appliances. The appearance of the washing machine to carry out water leakage test, check whether leakage. Abnormal use of electrical sockets to see if there are unsafe risks and so on.

There are two kinds of SAA logo, one is formal recognition, the other is standard logo. Formal certification is only responsible for the sample, and the standard mark is to be reviewed by each factory. At present, there are two ways to apply for SAA certification in China. One is to transfer through CB test report. If there is no CB test report, you can also apply directly.

At present, there are 43 certification institutions that are qualified to accept certification applications

1. Office of fair trading, New South Wales

2. 2. Department of industrial relations, Queensland

3. The office of the chief electrical inspector, Victoria

4. SAA approval Pty Ltd

5、Office of Energy Policy, South Australia

6、Office of Energy, Western Australia

7、Office of Electricity, Standards and Safety, Tasmania

After the certificate is issued by one of the above certification acceptance agencies, the abbreviation code and registration number of the certification company are marked as "security label", such as "n12345", which means the certificate issued by NSW, and the registration number is "12345". There is no certification mark in the safety regulation certification, so the mark of the certification authority can not be put in the label. The authentication number needs to be printed on the label.

The Australian standard begins with "as", and the joint standard of Australia and New Zealand begins with "as / NZS". The standards of Australia and New Zealand are basically consistent with IEC, and there are some national differences. Australia and New Zealand promote the unification of standards and mutual recognition of certification. Products can be sold in another country as long as they have obtained the certification of one country. Australian safety certification covers six continents in Australia.
