IC certification

What is certification? As a government agency, it is responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. Similar to Midea FCC, IC only limits EMI at present. Generally, only EMI is compulsory, and the authentication method is the same as FCC. Self verification, compliance and certification can be adopted. IC ID: CN (company number, up to 6 digits) + UPW (uniqlle product number, up to 8 digits) free of charge, but must have the address information of the Canadian representative.

Its responsible products are roughly divided into: Radio and television equipment (ntek), information technology equipment (ntek), radio equipment (ntek), telecommunications equipment (ntek), engineering medical equipment, etc.

Wireless products to do IC need to apply for IC (ID) wireless IC certification, if the customer does not record, then the time is 5 working days more than usual.

Preparation of certification materials:

1. Product description;

2. Circuit diagram, PCB diagram.

Certification process:

1. Submit samples, application forms and related information;

2. Arrange the test;

3. If the test fails, inform the customer for rectification, and issue the certificate through the preparation of the test report;

4. Get the certificate report with the balance.
